A Heritage Acres Venue Wedding
There are so many ways to begin Rachel and Tylers wedding blog, I’ve been working on this for a couple weeks now! When I first met these two, it was so comfortable and pleasant. I felt like we were instant friends, I love that about my clients. My goal is to make sure they are comfortable, so when I feel that way, I know it’s going to be a great experience. These two drove to Fayetteville, Arkansas for their engagement session, which we got lucky with the rain holding off until after the session. Tyler was a little quiet while Rachel and I did most of the talking, I got to work with Rachel once more before the wedding during her Bridal Session.
Rachel and Tyler met during nursing school in college and recently made some big moves in their new life together! I couldn’t be more excited for them! Both families were a joy to work with, which is another reason I love my job; I get to meet some pretty amazing people. When I first arrive I like to scope out the venue then gather any details to capture while everyone is getting ready.
As Rachel and her bridesmaids finished getting ready, Tyler and his groomsmen arrived! I took this opportunity to gather the boys up and get some portraits. Honestly the guys are so fun to work with, they make the process quick, easy, and make the best out of it! We can’t forget Shadow, Tylers golden retriever, he was a good boy the entire wedding!
Just before portraits, the guys had some help with the boutonniere’s! Tyler helped his mother with her corsage afterwards, I could just see the excitement in her eyes!
Rachel got to share the beginning of the day with her mother, aunt, and close family and friends! Rachels Aunt helped with hair, she even drove down to Northwest Arkansas to do it for Rachels bridals. Doesn’t she look stunning?!
Heritage Aces had a small bridal room for the girls to get ready in. The bathroom door was a sliding barn-like door, which gave us the perfect opportunity for a bridesmaid first look! How could we pass that up?
How sweet are these mother daughter moments? Rachels mother was such a joy to work with! These are the moments I love capturing.
One of Rachels request was a first look with her father. Once she was dressed and ready, we headed outside for her father to see his daughter for the first time on the big day! These get me every time..
Now what we’ve all been waiting for! The ceremony! I’ll just let you take this moment in..
Mr. and Mrs. Gray!!
After the ceremony the bridal party got the opportunity for portraits.
Of course we snuck off for some bride and groom portraits! We got to take a side by side around the property to find the perfect spot. Sunset portraits? Yes, please!
What’s a wedding reception without a little cake tradition?
Following the cake.. Bride and Groom first dance
and Father Daughter.. my heart can’t handle it!!
Tyler got to dance with his mother as well!
The Maid of Honor and Best Man gave their speeches, things got a little emotional! I love being able to hear stories about the Bride and Groom.
Wrapping up the big day was a sparkler exit, and a little surprise in the exit Jeep!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gray!! I wish you both all the best!!
